ChamEO Clinic is a series of workshops geared to benefit chameleon keepers and their chameleons. If you're in the Los Angeles area, this is a workshop you won't want to miss.

- Cham-Bonsai and Cage Workshop - February 2012
Limited to a very small number of participants to maximize one-on-one instruction in preparing, shaping and potting a plant using bonsai inspired techniques. Participants will go home with a beautiful planted cage. Cost for this workshop is $200 to $225 depending on the size of cage and plant desired. Call to discuss.
- Vet Clinic & Workshop - April 2012
We will have a guest veterinarian, a couple of hands-on demonstrations and plenty of discussion. Workshop will be limited to 15 attendees. To participate call Elisa ASAP at (818) 219-9315 or send an email to info@chameo.org. A donation of $20 is requested.
- Weekly Husbandry Workshops - Most Saturdays from 2 to 4 p.m. chameleon keepers in and around the Los Angeles area are welcome to reserve appointments to run their own routine parasite tests, check the UVB output on their lights, get feeders, get samples of gutloads and minerals, etc. Just call ahead of time to RSVP. Usually by Thursday is best. Elisa can be reached at (818) 219-9315. Any chameleons brought to these workshops must be in their own carriers. A donation of $20 is requested.
- ChamEO Clinic & Workshop (April 3, 2010) - This was our very first ChamEO Clinic workshop and it went very well. We started off at the microscopes with Dave Weldon's guidance checking chameleon fecal samples brought in by several individuals. Next we had a demonstration by Elisa Hinkle on how to make "Cham Bonsai." We were shown how to customize a ficus to a chameleon cage integrating centuries old bonsai techniques. The demonstration continued with the installation of a misting system. For the last part of workshop, Dr. Attila Molnar of All Animals Medical Center examined and treated a number of chameleons brought in by keepers. We are very happy Dr. Molnar was able to join us! Dayna Davis made video recordings of the entire workshop so hopefully before too long we can post some clips on our website. Many, many thanks and kudos to all who participated in ChamEO's first workshop. You helped make this a great event!
Special Thanks to Paul Jolly and Petco Foundation for providing ChamEO with the grant to make this dream a reality for me; Rita and Zoo Med Laboratories for the pallet of product donations, it made a lot of people very happy.

ChamEO operates solely on donations, grants and proceeds from the ChamEO Store. Here are some ways you can help out:
- Make a tax deductible donation to ChamEO, Inc. You can chose what the money is applied to but generally it goes towards veterinary and husbandry care of adoption animals.
- Donate items such as veterinary supplies (Fecalyzers, microscope slides/covers, Chlorhexidine Gluconate, swabs, pipettes, etc.), paper towels, non-latex gloves, new/unused products for chameleons, feeders (dubia roaches, superworms, silkworms, fly larvae, crickets), the list goes on.
- Provide a slideshow, video presentation, or do a demonstration.
- Help design publications, distribute workshop flyers in local reptile pet supply stores.
These are just some ideas but if you think of another way you can help ChamEO, we are interested.
